Sarah Wins Gold
Sarah Hartley, with a donation from the Hamilton Davies Trust has just won the Gold medal at the British National Judo Championships.
Sarah has said,
I would like to thank all at the Hamilton Davies Trust for the financial support you have given me to further my training. With the money you have given me I have purchased two Judo Gi's, the rest of the money will be spent on a 12 month gym membership. I was wearing one of the Gi's you financed when I recently entered the British Judo Council Junior National Championships in Hereford, I went on to win the Gold medal in the junior girls under 65 kilo group. Although I have only been training for 3 years I am the reigning British Junior National Champion. My thoughts for the future are to are to represent my country at the highest level.
