Youth Worker Required

CULCHETH METHODIST CHURCH 

 

would like to recruit

   a part-time  YOUTH WORKER

                            
20 hours a week       Salary  JNC pay scale

Funding is available for a 1 year appointment

 

You will become part of an established team of voluntary workers and will help in the running of three youth clubs, at Culcheth, Glazebury and Rixton. Each is at a different stage of development.

You will be based at Culcheth Methodist Church, with frequent travel between the three locations. The young people attending the youth clubs will be of different faiths, and of none. You will be expected to encourage dialogue on spiritual matters and to ensure that everyone’s views are respected. You should have an understanding of Methodism and be supportive of the Christian ethos.

Applicants must be qualified and experienced in youth work.

Key duties will include the building of relationships with the local high school and with other youth groupings in the area.
